Renewable energy transition stalls
Despite our Northside area having high rates of rooftop solar and home batteries and the big Supernode utility scale battery Stage 1 coming online at Brendale, final approvals for new wind, solar and batteries has plummeted since 2024.
NCV is looking for people to join a Working Group to promote the uptake of renewables and electrification of homes and businesses in our area, particularly the huge roof areas of sheds at Brendale that may be suitable for the new generation of light-weight panels.
