Our housing focus
Our Working Group is researching issues around the supply , demand, cost, availablity and affordability of all types of housing, with a particular, but not exclusive , focus on the City of Moreton Bay. As well as collecting data, we are looking for innovative solutions and models that have worked in other places. We are analysing and documenting information about housing, sharing ideas with Working Groups in other Voices Groups around Australia (because people, parents and households everywhere are facing similar problems and we are looking for collaborative solutions that can be customised to local situations). The same approach is being taken to the increasing and distressing problem of homelessness.
