I am a retired strategic planner and grandfather of four. In my late 70's and living off-grid on a 5-acre block in Samford, I spend a lot of time mowing and battling weeds. With qualifications in Environmental Science, Economic and Urban and Regional Planning, I worked from the mid-1970s as a planner and management consultant in a wide range of industries and locations. Finally, becoming sick and tired of working on plans that clients then failed to properly implement, I created a software application for tracking projects and service delivery (outputs) and progress towards the achievements of outcomes, which none of those clients ever used. I helped establish NCV because I believe our community deserve better governments and the ability to tell elected representatives exactly what desired outcome we wish them to achieve on our behalf.
