2026 Communicate
The first year of our three-year Strategic Plan will focus on growing the numbers of our NCV community, listening to and recording their expressed wishes and priorities for changes to the ways their three levels of government can be influenced to produce beneficial changes in community life, our physical and natural environment and the infrastructure that supports our livelihoods and lifestyles.
2027 Account
The second year of our three-year Strategic Plan will be spent evaluating the performance of our elected representatives and potential candidates for elections at the Local, State and Federal levels in the coming year.Â
We will be conducting a careful process to identify and vet people who are well-aligned with our values and supportive of our identified priorities and may be prepared to stand as a NCV-endorsed independent candidate in any seats, at any level, where the incumbent and other identified candidates are assessed not to be aligned with the things we want to see happen and the values we hold dear.
2028 Campaign
The third year of our three-year Strategic Plan will be be a busy time for NCV Members, Friends and supporters. We expect the scheduled Local and State Government elections to be held in March and in, or before, October respectively. The timing of the Federal election will be determined and announced by the Prime Minister and could be called at any time prior to the required deadline in May 2028.
We will be working to identify the main issues and priorities in any electorates where we are able to attract and support an NCV-endorsed independent candidate.
