What do we mean by 'priorities'
We want to hear the sorts of things that you want to have happen to make your family’s life better, to fix problems with services that you rely on, to stop your local environment from being polluted or degraded. Your priorities are the outcomes in the local, state, national or even international sphere that you believe are important. To make it clear, when you express your priorities, use active language, say exactly what you want to happen, when it should be done by and who should take responsibility for doing it.
Record your priorities
We are building a form to allow you to record your priorities directly into our database. The type of input we are hoping to receive might look like any of the following examples:
Local priority:Â Â build a preschool and child-care facility close to my new shopping precinct by 2028
State priority:Â Â change electrical legislation to allow apartment owners to install solar and battery systems on their balconies
International priority:Â Â conclude mineral processing agreement with Indonesia by 2027
Local priority:Â Â revegetate the mountain bike trails around Woodford ASAP
National priority:Â Â immediately change immigration laws to allow recognition of overseas medical and nursing qualificationsÂ
